Writer's Block: What happened to you today?

Well I woke up and read some more of "Twilight' - yes I'm on the bandwagon. Moving on. I got to school and went to form. then to RVE which is sort of like values education. We learnt about feminism. Apparently New Zealand were the first to allow women to vote - to which the New Zealander guy, Alen, in our class replied with, "Well have you seen our women? We couldn't say no". Laughs were had. Then I had an appointment with our careers counseller. She didn't help - she didn't even give me a flyer about UQ or whatever. Then Maths and I stressed because everyone had gone full out on this one part of a big assignment. Glancing down at my scrap piece of paper which contained a few crummy answers obviously did not bode well. On reflection I don't care too much. Although having a D on my exit level for maths would anger people and distress others. Whatever. Then BOM which is a business subject. We worked on our business plans. I'm doing a bookstore. I imagine I would read all the books and shoo everyone away (Black Books, anyone?). I got my school photo - as with previous years I still look ugly. Great. Then I walked home to the sounds of the Beatles on my ipod and finished Twilight. I only got it yesterday too (not be conceited or anything. I just really hate myself for it). Then I cleaned the kitchen and then I came here to procrastinate homework. Well, I'm not perfect am I!

Typical QCS Lesson.

Friday - right at the end of the week - we have QCS practice. That's Queensland Core Skills Test for those who don't know.
My lesson to be sarcastic and show off my hilarious disposition.
We had to write a speech bubble caption. The issue was thermo-pollution of waters. That is, factories make water really hot. Two men were in a fishing boat, presumably to fish, and one was gesturing towards the water.
Keep in mind humour was a criteria also.
I wrote, "My rod is hot if you know what I mean".
My caption FTW!
My teacher was not amused.

Well the Maths B exam has been and went. We got our results today *ugh*. It was on differential equations I think - something like that.
Anyway after I looked at my fail grade I decided to flip through what I had written.
There was a question on termites.
It asked for an equation.
I panicked.
So I did what I do best.
I wrote, and I wrote well may I say, about the creature we have deemed the 'termite'.
I discussed it's livelihood.
I explained and extrapolated the immense structural engineering feats these creatures perform on a daily basis in homes around the globe.
And to top it all off...
It wasn't marked.
I feel jipped.

New Years. A time for massive celebrations, drunken karaoke fights and resolutions doomed to be forgotten. For 2008 I decided that this year will be different - this year I shall make one resolution I can keep. Now that I have you all on the end of your computer chairs, I might share this "impossible to fail" resolution. My resolution for 2008 is...

to not think up any more resolutions.

Great, isn't it? If not completely unoriginal. Well readers, this is my only resolution, and hopefully I shall keep it.

But you know how resolutions are...
